SDG 14 · Life under water
AIU contribution to the goal
Despite Kazakhstan being a landlocked country, AIU contributes to SDG 14 through research on freshwater ecosystems and biodiversity conservation. This includes the project “Spatial Distribution and Assessment of Rare and Vulnerable Plant Populations in Central and Northern Kazakhstan” (AP23488845). Environmental science students analyse water quality and develop measures to prevent the pollution of water bodies.
