AIU contribution to the goal

AIU advances SDG 5 by ensuring equal opportunities for women in education, research, and governance. Women account for more than 65% of employees and 70% of students. As part of the Zhas Galym program, researcher D. Aikenova is implementing the project “Women in Kazakhstan’s Political Process: Quotas, Gender Stereotypes, and Behavioural Patterns,” which aims to develop recommendations for inclusive governance.
