Networking for Sustainable Development

 On May 27, 2025, a roundtable discussion was held at our university on the topic: “The Role of Networking in Advancing Environmental Initiatives Related to POPs and Obsolete Pesticides.”


 The event brought together scientists and experts, representatives of environmental NGOs, international organizations working in the field of sustainable development and chemical safety, as well as government officials.


 The core of the discussion focused on the role of networking and cross-sectoral collaboration: how joint efforts by the scientific community, civil society, international institutions, and authorities help promote environmental initiatives, enhance knowledge exchange, and accelerate the implementation of sustainable solutions for managing POPs and hazardous legacy chemicals.


 During the discussion, participants shared successful case studies, explored challenges and opportunities for cross-sectoral synergy, and outlined steps to expand professional networks and platforms for cooperation.
