Astana International University Student Wins Second Place at the Republican Biology Olympiad

Bazyltai Nurlan Meirambekuly, a student of the “B013 – Biology Teacher

Training” educational program at Astana International University, won second

place at the XVIII Republican Subject Olympiad among university students of the

Republic of Kazakhstan.

The intellectual competition was held on April 23–24, 2026, at Khoja

Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University in Turkistan. The

Olympiad brought together the best students from universities across the country.

According to the results of the competition, Bazyltai Nurlan Meirambekuly

was awarded a second-degree diploma for demonstrating a high level of

professional training, profound knowledge in biology and pedagogy, and strong

motivation for scientific development.

The student’s academic supervisor was Dinara Turapbayevna Isakova, who

made a significant contribution to the participant’s preparation for this prestigious

academic competition.
