Nurbek Isabay, Dean of the Graduate School of Law at
Astana International University and Associate Professor and PhD, gave an
interview to the program "Today's Word."
In modern society, the concept of an honest citizen has
acquired particular significance. Nurbek Isabay shared his opinion on this:
"Honesty is our main value, our strategic asset.
Above all, it is a moral category. A person must be honest, first and foremost,
with themselves. Only those who demonstrate honesty in their work, in their
team, and in their relationships with others can become true citizens. An
honest person develops into an honest citizen, and an honest citizen is one who
faithfully serves their country," he noted.
During the interview, the scholar emphasized the
importance of instilling a sense of justice and responsibility in young people.
According to him, honesty is not just a personal quality, but a social value
that contributes to the development of the country. "Instilling the
principle of honesty in the minds of the younger generation is key to the
country's future. If every citizen is honest and fair in their field, the level
of trust in society will increase, and where there is trust, there is development,"
emphasized Nurbek Isabayuly.
As an experienced legal expert, Nurbek Isabay actively
promotes the ideas of the rule of law, justice, and honesty. He is the author
of several research articles and textbooks. Under his leadership, the faculty
implements various projects aimed at enhancing students' legal awareness and
fostering civic engagement.
