On November 9, 2025, Astana International University hosted an educational seminar, "21st-Century Diet: Healthy Habits for Mental and Physical Activity," for students in the 6B01502 Biology program. The event aimed to foster a conscious approach to nutrition and promote a healthy lifestyle among young people.

During the seminar, fourth-year students Lana Akpayeva, Zhansaya Ashirbekova, Aigerim Isakhan, Nazim Serikkali, Alua Rakhimbekova, Gulim Dauren, Zhanel Bigalieva, Nazgul Nurollaeva, and Baktybek Medelbek presented popular science materials on modern approaches to healthy eating. The speakers detailed the impact of a balanced menu, meal plan, and healthy habits on cognitive performance, resilience, and overall health. Interactive small-group assignments were organized for first-, second-, and third-year students. Participants solved situational problems and completed creative and analytical exercises aimed at reinforcing their knowledge of proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. These practice-oriented assignments allowed students to demonstrate critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills.

Following the event, students noted that the seminar was not only informative but also practically useful: it broadened their understanding of 21st-century nutritional culture, emphasized the importance of making informed food choices, and developing sustainable healthy habits.

Events such as these help improve biological literacy among young people and foster a healthy culture, which is an important component of training future biology specialists.
