On December 2, 2025, the first organizational meeting of the new Public Council on Science, Higher Education, and Language Policy of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. Its members included Akhylbek Kazhigulovich Kurishbayev, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Beibit Baimagambetovich Mamrayev, state and public figure; Serik Aztayevi Irsaliev, President of Astana International University and President of the Beles Center for Analysis and Strategy; and Naiman Bubeyevich Kalabayev, state and public figure. The composition
and chairpersons of four Public Council committees were elected. S.A. Irsaliev,
President of Astana International University, was elected Chairman of the
Public Council Committee on Regulatory Legal Acts and Anti-Corruption.
