In early January, right after the New Year holidays, faculty and staff from three
divisions of Astana International University—the Higher School of Economics, the Higher
School of Law, and the Higher School of Art and Humanities—visited a resort in the
Shchuchinsk-Borovoye area. The picturesque Forest Club Burabay country complex became
a place of power and a hub for generating new ideas.
The purpose of the trip was not only to review the results of the first semester but also
to "recharge" before the start of the new academic period. In an informal setting, away from
university walls and lecture halls, colleagues were able to discuss key achievements, analyze
the results of the past months, and develop detailed strategic goals for the second semester.
The winter forest of Borovoye and the fresh frosty air provided a great opportunity for
outdoor activities. Walks and team games helped colleagues get to know each other better and
foster team spirit.
The staff of Astana International University expresses gratitude to the leadership for
the opportunity to hold such events at Forest Club Burabay.
