As
part of the International Winter School “Public Stability and Social Justice:
The Interaction of Politics, Law, and Social Institutions”, held at M. O.
Auezov South Kazakhstan University, a lecture was delivered by Zamira D.
Baubekova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor at Astana International
University.
The
lecture, titled “The Culture of Pedagogical Presence: Ethics of Speech,
Behavior, and Professional Responsibility,” addressed key issues of pedagogical
ethics, professional responsibility, and the psychological well-being of
participants in the educational process.
The
speaker emphasized that in the context of increasing and often contradictory
demands placed on educators, pedagogical ethics should not be viewed as a
formality, but rather as a crucial condition for maintaining psychological
balance and mental health within the educational environment.
The
International Winter School, held from January 12 to 23, 2026, was organized
for faculty members and young researchers and served as a dynamic platform for
professional dialogue, exchange of experience, and scholarly ideas. Despite
being conducted online, the discussions were marked by high engagement, depth,
and genuine interest from participants.
Speakers
from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and other countries
took part in the Winter School, presenting a wide range of relevant academic,
pedagogical, and socio-legal topics. This diversity of perspectives enabled
participants to broaden their professional outlook and identify new directions
for teaching and research activities.
