An official meeting on the topic “University Commonwealth” was held at
Astana International University with the participation of Solene Martin, a
representative of the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan, and Ardak Koxegenova,
Manager of the Goethe-Institut.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of international
academic cooperation, expansion of partnership relations, implementation of joint
educational projects, academic mobility of students and faculty, and the promotion
of French and German languages within the university. Special attention was given
to strengthening intercultural dialogue and creating new opportunities for students.
As part of the event, a French language Olympiad was organized among
second-year students. The participants demonstrated a high level of language
proficiency, creativity, and strong interest in French language and culture.
Such meetings and academic competitions contribute to strengthening the
University’s international relations and enhancing student motivation for academic
excellence.
