On February 26, 2026, within the framework of the
“Foreign Languages Week” organized by the Institute of Pedagogy, Senior
Lecturer Zhang Junping (张俊萍) from BLCU Kazakhstan conducted an open class.
First-year students of the joint educational program
“6B01711 – English and Chinese Languages,” implemented by the Institute of
Pedagogy and BLCU Kazakhstan, participated in the event.
The open class titled “Chinese Culture and Chinese
Poetry” was organized at a high level. Students were introduced to the
traditions of the Chinese New Year as well as to Chinese poems related to this
festival. The event significantly increased their interest in Chinese culture.
This activity provided a valuable opportunity for
students studying Chinese. They gained a deeper understanding that Chinese
culture serves as an important bridge in mastering the Chinese language
comprehensively.
The open class was also attended by Liu Xianqiang (刘现强),
Director of the Chinese side of BLCU Kazakhstan, Senior Lecturer Zhang Xiaoming
(张晓明), and Lecturer Tabys Yerzat.
