On May 29, 2025, the official presentation of the Kazakh-language edition of the four-volume collection "The Governance of China" by Chinese President Xi Jinping took place at Nazarbayev University in Astana. The event was attended by the President of Astana International University, Serik Aztaevich Irsaliev, as well as representatives of BLCU Kazakhstan — the local branch of Beijing Language and Culture University, operating at AIU in partnership with one of China’s top institutions.

The event brought together over 300 participants from government agencies, academia, the diplomatic community, and media organizations of both Kazakhstan and China. Distinguished guests included Kazakhstan’s Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva, Vice Minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee Hu Heping, Deputy Chair of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission of China Guo Wei, Director of the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration Du Zhanyuan, and Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Han Chunlin.

📚 The book covers key issues of modern Chinese governance, political philosophy, development strategies, and international engagement. The Kazakh edition was the result of close cooperation between Kazakh and Chinese publishing houses, including Foliant Publishing and the Nationalities Publishing House of China.

🌏 The participation of AIU and BLCU Kazakhstan underscored the vital role of academic and cultural exchange in strengthening bilateral relations. As President of AIU Serik Irsaliev noted:
“Our mission is to serve as an intellectual bridge between Kazakhstan and China. Joint educational projects such as BLCU are our contribution to a shared future built on mutual understanding, knowledge, and respect.”

Astana International University extends its gratitude to the organizers and reaffirms its commitment to fostering international cooperation in education, research, and humanitarian initiatives.
